A leak at an industrial facility has triggered a toxic spill that threatens the city of Urtajo. Javier, a local politician, is on the phone in his car with the manager of the company responsible, one of the major donors to his party. Faced with a difficult decision, Javier must choose whether to acknowledge the situation publicly or bury it to protect his interests. Distracted by a call from his wife reminding him of his family commitments, Javier gets into a car accident. The other vehicle is carrying a father and daughter from Urtajo, the very city endangered by the toxic fumes. In the aftermath, the politician comes to realize that not everything can be resolved with power or money. The environmental disaster becomes a personal reckoning—a moral crisis with no easy escape.
