The doubts and fears that lead to adulthood accompany every adolescent, even in the mountains of Lesotho, in South Africa. The snowy landscapes, unusual for Africa, form the backdrop for the simple life of four young people, Lefa, Senate, Retabile and Mosaku, in the pastoral village of Ha Sakeke. The carefree nature of youth must soon give way to the difficult decisions of the future. Senate will soon leave to study in the city and Lefa, her closest friend, must think about her own future.
Teboho Edkins
Born 1980, and raised in the USA, South Africa, and Europe, he studied Fine Arts and Contemporary Art in Cape Town and at Le Fresnoy in France, also collaborating with the Deutsche Film und Fernsehakademie, Berlin. With Coming of Age he participated in the Berlinale, the international festival Visions Du Réel in Nyon and won the Genziana d’Oro at the Trento Film Festival.
