Drought and famine have put a strain on a young mother camel that, exhausted by the eff orts of childbirth, rejects her newborn off spring. But thanks to the arcane, traditional Mongolian music sung by a nomadic woman, the mother camel rediscovers her own maternal instincts and finally accepts her baby.
