LA PRIMA NEVE

FIRST SNOWFALL

Italia / 2013 / 104 min / Colour

Dani immigrates to Italy from Togo and settles in Pergine, in the lower Val di Mocheni, where he lives in a hospitality house along with his one-year-old daughter. Dani carries deep pain inside that keeps him far from the world, from the beautiful mountain landscapes, and even from his daughter, whom he is unable to care for. During his job in the workshop of a carpenter, Pietro, he meets and grows close to Michele, the carpenter’s grandson, who recently lost his father and has a difficult relationship with his mother. Dani and Michele, so different in age, history, and origins, learn to talk and listen to one another
