SNOW

Norvegia / 2012 / 10 min / Colour

Italian premiere

Our life is dominated by noises and buzzing that often fill our ears, preventing us from capturing the fragile, intimate sounds of nature. This is what the protagonist of Snø attempts, with the momentum and recklessness of the earliest pioneers and explorers. His repeated, hair-brained attempts to capture the sound of snow falling make us smile. But fi nally, when the latest technological equipment allows him amplify the rustle of a snowflake so much that we perceive a thunderous noise, our eyes, along with his, fill with theemotion that only dreamers can elicit.
