Simone Massi
A former labourer, of peasant origins, he studied animation at the Scuola d’Arte in Urbino. An independent animator, his small films have been shown in 56 countries on the 5 continents and have garered more than 220 prizes, among these the David di Donatello in 2012. In the same year the Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica in Venice honoured him with a complete retrospective.
