WALKER

WALKER

2012 / 30 min / Colour

A young man travels from Nepal to India. More than the spectacular landscapes, the grandiosity of nature, and the vivacity of the cities, it is the people he meets who make this voyage significant. For the protagonist, observing and listening means asking himself about the meaning of existence and the search for happiness. Meaning comes with walking, unhurried, and without the obsessions of daily life. Difficulties and even accidents can contribute to this search, which provokes, within, a great desire for travel.

  • Eero Heinonen

Born in Helsinki, he is known primarily as a member of The Rasmus, an alternative rock group on the city’s musical scene. In 2012, his passion for music, dance, and Eastern philosophy led him to make Walker, his first short film.
