A violent storm wrecks the ship of Captain Hu, who finds himself stranded in the Alps. The captain is confused. He doesn’t know how to dislodge his boat or what to do with it on a mountain. A kind farmer rushes to help him and finds an ingenious way to use the craft. He transforms it into a cannon for making artificial snow to cover the ubiquitous ski runs, with their ubiquitous ski lifts and the ubiquitous, distracted, noisy tourists. During his forced stay in the mountains, Captain Hu even meets an improbable yeti, but doesn’t seem happy about any of this and dreams, from up there, of returning with his boat to ride the waves of the sea.
