With black-and-white poetry, the director recounts the mountains in Calabria and criticizes the lack of prospects for their inhabitants. It seems that no social or political change is possible here. The comings and goings of a broken-down car, on strips of highway within the wild natural landscape, is the emblem of isolation in an immovable world.
