TUTTO È QUI

EVERYTHING IS HERE

Silvia Luciani / Italy / 2022 / 68 min / Colour

When the most violent earthquake of the last fifty years hits central Italy, Maria, 85, loses everything, including her home. Federica, 45, sees her dream destroyed: a kindergarten in the woods. Neither woman can leave their town in the Sibillini Mountains, as the others have done. They find themselves alone, trying to get back on their feet. Federica rebuilds the kindergarten inside a yurt tent. Maria tries to resist in a small container donated by the Civil Protection in order to survive in the place that she has never left. But the children still live in the village, the only real inhabitants who face the solitude of that small abandoned corner of the world, where all seems lost. The mountains embrace their existence and, thanks to their imagination, the past is no longer scary and the future becomes a source of hope.
