Two kids, Tyler e Benjamin, wander about the remote province of Québec, constantly putting each other to the test with various challenges. When they sneak into an open mine, the game crosses the line and their profound ingenuity quickly turns to tragedy. The nature of extraordinary beauty that surrounds them shows its coldest facet, indifferent to the destiny of individuals. With great control and sobriety, the young director creates an effective parable on the ferocity of childhood, the uncontrollable consequences of our actions, and the unpredictable paths of destiny. Nature, neither benevolent nor cruel, remains a detached spectator.

Jérémy Comte
Based in Montreal, at 18 he made the documentary Feel the Hill, about the world of skaters, that took him around the world, thanks to its selection by the Banff Mountain Film Festival. He earned a degree in Film Production at Concordia University. Fauve, his first fiction short, won the Special Jury Award at the Sundance Film Festival in 2018.
