Since he was born, Pier Luigi has spent each summer in a pasture in the high mountains, with his cows and goats, amongst the peaks of the Western Segusine Alps. Now he is fifteen and feels different from most of his peers. He is proud to be a farmer and loves his work, his animals, and his mountains. He wouldn’t change his way of life, so simple and difficult, for any other in the world. He wants to remain in the mountains to live and work.
