Horsetail, fern, conifer, and lycopodium are antique plants with valuable medicinal properties. They have survived the great climatic catastrophes and resisted all changes. Strong connections have developed around the power of these plants as have cults and traditions capable of surviving over time. Isolated in the valleys, the “herb witches” and “men of the forest” live on.
