ATTILIO BENETTI: EXPLORER OF TIME
One hundred years after his birth and ten after his death, the Curatorium Cimbricum Veronense and the Film Festival della Lessinia remember Attilio Benetti, the Velo Veronese scholar who made a fundamental contribution to the paleontological, geological, historical, and ethnographic knowledge of the Veronese mountains. Nadia Massella narrates his biography, Ezio Bonomi is studies on popular traditions and legends, and Nicola Pezzoni and Francesco Sauro his geological and paleontological studies. Vito Massalongo moderates.

Billy makes a catastrophic mess and, frightened, runs away, bumping into an unexpected helper who brings with him a magical gift. Nicola Cinquetti inaugurates the new section “Little Higher Words” dedicated to children’s books with L’incredibile notte di Billy Bologna (Lapis, 2022) with which he won the Campiello Junior Prize and the Cento Children’s Literature Prize. The author is accompanied by the musician Marco Padovani.

THE PRETA’S “TATTERED OVERALLS”
Three of the main protagonists of the “tattered overalls” expedition who reached the bottom of the Spluga della Preta in 1963 return to Lessinia to tell us about when speleological exploration seemed to have taken some young explorers further than the moon. Francesco Sauro, author of the book, L’Abisso, and the president of the Italian Speleological Society, Sergio Orsini, will also contribute.
