The book, Storia di Tönle, was translated into Cimbrian by Andrea Nicolussi. The linguists Alessandra Tomaselli and Ermenegildo Bidese speak with the author about the importance of this translation as a key to the complex relationship between language and culture, with readings from the book in Italian, German and Cimbrian.
